Android Messaging Utility App

Job ID: 40376353

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m ready to commission a complete Android-only utility application whose core purpose is secure, real-time messaging. I already have the concept and basic workflow sketched out; what I need now is an experienced mobile developer who can turn those ideas into a polished, production-ready APK and guide it through Play Store submission.

Here’s the scope in plain terms:

• Build a native Android app that opens quickly, registers users by phone or email, and lets them exchange text, images, and voice notes in one-to-one or small-group chats.
• Implement end-to-end encryption with a well-maintained library (for example, Signal protocol or similar) so all conversations stay private by default.
• Design a clean Material-you inspired UI; I have colour references and a splash-screen logo ready for hand-off.
• Set up Firebase (or another scalable real-time backend you prefer) for authentication, message sync, push notifications, and offline caching.
• Provide unit tests, clear build instructions, and a signed release build that passes Play Console checks.

Acceptance criteria:
– App installs on any device running Android 10+ without crashes or ANRs.
– First message delivery latency under two seconds on a standard 4G connection.
– All user data encrypted at rest and in transit, verified via packet inspection.
– Play Store listing approved on first submission.

If you’ve shipped at least one chat-centric Android app before and are comfortable owning the entire pipeline—from Kotlin code through CI/CD to store rollout—let’s talk timelines and milestones.
