SEO Specialist for Australian Professional Services Agency (Migration & Education Focus)
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
We are seeking an experienced SEO freelancer to manage and grow the organic visibility of our Australian-based consultancy, EMC Australia (https://www.emcaustralia.com.au/).
Our business operates in the migration and education services sector, which falls under Google’s high-trust / YMYL (Your Money, Your Life) category. Accuracy, relevance, brand trust, and long-term sustainability are critical. We are not interested in aggressive or short-term SEO tactics.
Primary Goals
1. Technical & On-Page SEO
• Full SEO audit (technical, on-page, indexing, Search Console)
• Improve crawlability, internal structure, and Core Web Vitals
• Optimise service and landing pages for high-intent professional keywords
2. Strategic Content Optimisation
• Identify and optimise approximately 10–15 primary commercial keywords, supported by relevant secondary and long-tail keyword clusters
• Keyword selection must be based on search intent, relevance to our services, and commercial value — not volume alone
• Optimise existing pages and approved content only
• Align content with search intent and E-E-A-T principles
• No irrelevant, filler, or generic content
• Final keyword selection requires approval before implementation
3. Authority Building (Off-Page SEO)
• Build a small number of high-quality, editorial backlinks
• Focus on relevance, trust, and authority — not volume
Backlink Requirements (Strict & Non-Negotiable)
Volume
• Quality over quantity (typically 5–10 backlinks per month)
• No weekly quotas or forced link velocity
Accepted Backlink Sources
• Australian domains: .com.au, .org.au, .edu.au, .gov.au
• Reputable international .org, .edu, .gov, or high-authority .com websites
• Industry and professional associations
• Authoritative business or industry publications
• Educational institutions and research organisations
• Government or public-sector references where links or citations are earned naturally
Link Placement Standards
• Every backlink must be a contextual, in-content editorial link within a unique, high-quality article
• No sidebar, footer, author bio, sitewide, profile, or directory links
• No “sponsored”, “advertorial”, or paid link disclosures unless the site is a high-authority, editorially trusted publication and approval is granted in advance
Strictly NOT Allowed
• PBNs or private networks
• Guest-post farms or reseller networks
• Automated or bulk link building
• Content syndication
• Repurposing, rewriting, or copying our website content for backlinks
• Any link placed without prior written approval
Transparency
• All backlink URLs must be disclosed and approved before placement
Content & AI Policy
• We will provide all original content outlines, articles, and professional imagery
• You may not copy, spin, republish, or syndicate our content elsewhere
• AI may be used only as a drafting aid and must be fully edited, fact-checked, and approved before publishing
• No content or links may be published without prior approval
Deliverables
• Initial SEO audit with prioritised action plan
• Implemented on-page and technical fixes (where agreed)
• Monthly SEO report including:
o Ranking and impression trends vs baseline
o Work completed
o Approved backlinks placed
o Technical improvements
