Boost Local Corporate SEO Visibility

I manage a corporate website that currently gets little traction on Google, and I want that to change. The goal is straightforward: when people in my local area type industry-related keywords—terms they’d naturally use when searching for services like mine—I need my site to show up on the first page.

Here’s what I’m after:
• A concise list of high-intent, industry-specific keywords that make sense for a local audience.
• On-page optimisation for those terms (titles, meta descriptions, header tags, schema, internal links).
• Local SEO essentials such as Google Business Profile tweaks, citation building and location-focused landing page improvements.
• A light touch of off-page work—relevant backlinks from local or industry sources—to reinforce authority.
• A brief report explaining what was done and how to measure the impact.

My site is built on a standard corporate CMS, so any widely used SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog) are fine. If you have another favourite workflow, that’s okay as long as it delivers the result: higher local rankings for those industry terms.
