Fix Kendo UI Upgrade Issues

I recently update my ASP.NET Core project from Kendo UI 2022 to 2025.2.520 and two new problems surfaced immediately. The behaviour is identical in every browser I test, so I know it isn’t a client-side quirk. I need a developer who knows Telerik’s Kendo UI for ASP.NET Core inside out to step in, reproduce the issues with me, track down the root cause, and supply clean, well-commented fixes.
