I will be travelling to a warehouse in Bangalore to negotiate terms directly with a potential supplier. My spoken Kannada is minimal, so I need someone beside me throughout the visit who can listen to conversations in Kannada, then relay them to me in clear English and, just as smoothly, convey my responses back to the supplier and staff.

A basic grasp of warehousing vocabulary—items such as inventory counts, pallet sizes, loading schedules, and freight rates—is all that’s required; I am not expecting deep technical discussions. What matters is that you can keep the conversation flowing naturally, ensure nothing is lost in translation, and help create a comfortable atmosphere for both sides.

We will likely spend half a day on-site. I’ll confirm the exact date and meeting point once we connect, and I’ll cover any entry badges or visitor passes needed.
