About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled n8n automation expert to build and maintain intelligent, scalable workflows on our privately hosted server (no Docker). The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of app integrations, advanced automation logic, and experience incorporating LLMs (Large Language Models) into workflows for tasks like summarization, classification, enrichment, or AI-driven decision-making.
This is a mission-critical role for someone passionate about automation and AI-powered efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Design and deploy reliable, efficient workflows in n8n (non-Docker, private server)
Connect third-party apps and APIs (REST, GraphQL, OAuth2, etc.)
Implement advanced logic: conditional branches, loops, error handling, retries
Integrate LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, HuggingFace, etc.) into workflows for automation and enrichment
Use webhooks, schedulers, and triggers to drive automation
Maintain detailed workflow documentation
Collaborate with internal teams to identify automation opportunities
Requirements:
Strong hands-on experience with n8n on private servers (non-Docker environments)
Proven ability to integrate and automate tools like Google Sheets, Gmail, CRMs, Airtable, etc.
Experience working with Large Language Models via API (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, LLaMA, etc.)
Solid understanding of APIs, JSON, webhooks, HTTP requests, authentication
Comfortable debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex workflows
Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Basic scripting knowledge (Node.js, Python, or JS)
Familiarity with self-hosted environments and server-side permissions
Experience integrating custom AI agents or chaining tools (e.g., LlamaIndex, LangChain, etc.)
Knowledge of databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Supabase, or MongoDB)
