Detailed description:
Overview what needs done on this project:
A. Install fancy designer on test server and ensure it is working without any issues.
B. Add pricing structure plugin
C. Add Text effects
D. Insert output of designer (size, price, design) into bridge form tags
E. We will move the completed project to the signspecialist server. This might cause some bugs (likely in css) that will need your attention and input.
Details:
Part of installing the designer will to be to modify the designer in 3 ways:
1. Add the client designed Product to the shopping cart. The jQuery version of the designer (the stand alone version) we have ready to install and is ideal for our setup. We also have the pricing structure plugin for the fancydesigner.
The information from the designer would need to go to our opencart cart. How? We have developed a bridge.php script that bridges a static html form to the shopping cart. It works great. It takes the information from a form, validates it, runs security measures on it, and creates a product based on the forms details and adds it to the cart. Works awesome and is used on thousands of static product pages. For this job, we just have to put the output variables from the designer into the form fields and the bridge.php script will take over.
2. Add our pricing for our product
In a new tab in the Designer, the client will first enter their specifications for the job: overall size of the area to fit their design, price/colors, optional instructions.
How will it look? Three lines / form fields:

Any additional instructions concerns: (text box)

Pricing details ideally will be editable in an external file (so prices can be changed easily as needed). Priced as follows:
2 doors 1 color = $60
2 doors 2 color = $70
2 doors full color = $80
Extras:
Make metal flake: +$10
Make reflective: +$25
Notes on pricing concerns. There is no need to count colors. If the client fudges and goes full color in what they later design and only charged themselves for one color, no problem. Most are honest and the occasional fudge is acceptable.
3. Add text effect function seen in other designers (see images)
This will probably be the hardest part of the project. So, we are not picky on the details. Some background. Most designers that are available to purchase out there use Fabric.js (as does this one). Fabric.js does not have text effects (except arched). On the other hand, most Saas designers also use Fabric.js but then use ImageMagick library for the text effects.

But overall the designer is clunky. We would like to take the text effects found in here and put them in the fancy designer. Or, if it is easier, any other way of adding text effects is great. Again, since this might be a bit tricky, we are not picky about how it happens.

For security concerns, we have setup a test server on one of our unused domains, that mirrors the setup of our main server. We have cpanel access available. (once the project is complete it will be moved to the main server)
