Independent PHP/MySQL Developer – Long-Term Part-Time Retainer

I run a custom-built PHP/MySQL case management system – no framework used – and need a single dedicated freelancer to keep it running smoothly on a monthly retainer (roughly 20–25 hrs/month).

What You’ll Do
Maintain & optimize existing PHP/MySQL code and database
Fix urgent bugs quickly
Implement small feature tweaks when needed
Occasionally check server logs or adjust permissions on a Linux VPS

How We’ll Work
Monthly retainer: $350 (trial month first – small paid test task)
Light process: Weekly status notes + ad-hoc email/WhatsApp for urgent issues
Stack: Classic LAMP – PHP (procedural + a few OO parts), MySQL, jQuery, Linux VPS

Who I’m Looking For
Independent freelancer only – NO agencies, NO resellers, NO teams
Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on PHP/MySQL experience
Comfortable with Linux basics (logs, permissions)
Must personally write and deliver the code.
You may use AI-assisted coding tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) as long as you personally review, understand, and test all code before delivery.
