Homepage Scroll Button Fix

On my website’s landing page I have a navigation button that should smoothly scroll visitors down to a specific section. Right now, when it’s clicked, absolutely nothing happens—no movement, no console errors, just silence. (see screenshot - the "i need tutoring ASAP" button)

I need a quick, clean fix so the button once again triggers the on-page scroll (vanilla JS or jQuery is fine as long as it works across modern browsers). Please check the markup, anchor, and any associated JavaScript, correct whatever is blocking the event, and verify the behaviour on desktop and mobile before handing it back.

Deliverable: a functional button, with any updated HTML/CSS/JS snippets and a brief note of what you changed so I can keep future edits consistent.
