Scope
You will take over a live production system currently in use by end-users.
Your responsibilities include both ongoing maintenance (10–15 hours/month) and approximately 200 hours/year of new development based on our roadmap.
In addition, we expect you to proactively advise on and implement updates, security patches, and system optimizations as needed.
Tech Environment
The application is built with:
Backend: Frappe 14 (Python 3.10, MariaDB 10.6)
Frontend: jQuery 3.6, Tailwind CSS 3.x, JavaScript, HTML
The broader stack includes:
Redis 6.0.16
Node.js 14.21.3
Yarn 1.22.19
wkhtmltopdf 0.12.6 (with patched Qt)
What We’re Looking For
A technically solid team with proven experience in the Frappe framework, Python, and jQuery-based frontends
An organized, reliable agency with structured QA, testing, and release procedures
Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and flag risks or opportunities proactively
Capacity to commit to both maintenance and new feature development on a rolling basis
Next Steps
Please include in your proposal:
A brief introduction of your agency and relevant project references
Your approach to taking over and managing an existing application
Your availability, process, and proposed collaboration model
Hourly or retainer-based pricing structure
We are looking to start this collaboration in Q4 and are open to onboarding discussions prior to that.
