Creation of a Digital Map of the Eweland Region
Project Goal:
Development of a digital, interactive map of Eweland (Southern Togo and Volta Region) at a scale of approximately 1:400,000. The map should be user-friendly, expandable, and eventually available online.

Functions and Requirements:
1. Fixed Elements:
o National borders, regions, districts, and prefectures.
o Rivers, lakes, and existing or planned reservoirs.
o 12-mile maritime boundary and exclusive marine zone.
o Major roads, capitals, and key towns.
o A comprehensive map legend.
2. Interactivity and Expandability:
o Zoom Functionality: At least up to 200%.
o Future Additions:
New towns and roads.
New reservoirs.
Symbols of various types and sizes (to mark individual projects).
Numbering and description of major projects.
o Capability for the project owner to continuously make adjustments and updates.
3. Future Online Availability:
o The map should be designed to allow easy online publication at a later stage.
4. Software and Cost Efficiency:
o Use of free or low-cost software wherever possible.
o The software should be user-friendly and suitable for non-experts to enable independent modifications.
