Journalist / Analyst on China's Geopolitics

Hiring: China-Focused Journalist / Geopolitical Analyst (Freelance / Part-time)

I’m looking for a sharp, reliable journalist or analyst to keep me personally updated on China foreign policy and International issues.
What you’ll deliver:
- In-depth analysis of international issues involving China
- Bilateral relations coverage (especially Taiwan–China, US–China, Japan–China, Indo-Pacific etc.)
- Chinese foreign policy, grand strategy, and global influence tracking
- Occasional deep-dive reports on topics I request

Requirements:
- Strong expertise in China/East Asia affairs (journalism, IR, or think-tank background preferred)
- Excellent English writing skills — clear, neutral, insightful, zero fluff
- Ability to read and translate key Chinese-language sources
- Fast turnaround, reliable deadlines, independent research skills
- Experience writing for newsletters, media, or high-level clients is a big plus

Location: Fully remote (worldwide welcome; Taiwan/HK/China-timezone experience highly valued)

Compensation: Competitive monthly retainer + performance bonus (rate open to discussion based on experience and output quality)
