Inspirational Artist Feature & Placement -- 2

Job ID: 40102124

Budget: $250 – $750 SGD

I’m preparing a long-form, narrative feature profile of a young international artist whose work has recently gained recognition across Asia and Europe, with an important Paris moment coming up.

I already have substantial background material — biographical notes, an early draft, and selected press clippings — and I’m looking for a seasoned journalist or feature writer to transform this raw material into a polished, publication-ready piece suitable for a respected arts, culture, or lifestyle publication.

This is not a press release. The feature should be built around immersive storytelling and human interest, placing the artist’s journey in cultural context, highlighting key exhibitions and recognition, and capturing why this story matters now. The tone should be inspiring yet restrained, well-reported, and editorially credible.

In addition to writing, I’m seeking editorial guidance on pitching and placement. Experience engaging with editors at reputable outlets in France, the UK, or the US (art magazines, cultural journals, or broadsheet culture sections) will be important. There is no expectation of guaranteed placement, but informed advice, targeted pitching, and introductions where appropriate are highly valued.

Deliverables

A publication-ready feature (final length to be agreed)

One or more tailored pitch emails aligned to specific outlets

Light editorial placement support (introductions, submissions, or advice on submission routes, where feasible)

I will provide full background material and be available for interviews, clarifications, and fact-checking throughout the process.

If you are a writer who values narrative journalism, cultural reporting, and real editorial standards, I’d welcome the opportunity to collaborate
