joomla edit key pad and time stamp

Joomla based website that based on sign up form user accounts are created
I need a way to automate a 4 digit pin that each new user gets when they sign up using that form
The user is emailed that pin (I have code to send email )
2) Based on that pin the user is able to enter in pin and have a time stamp track on my backend to see when that user login.
The pin should associate with the user first and last name Date and time when they login.
I already have a website up that has a backend and form. This is all code edits and maybe some additional code added
