joomla admin can not edit and create new article

I am looking for a Joomla expert who can help me with the issue I am facing. As the admin, I am unable to edit and create a new article on my Joomla 3.x website. While I am not receiving any error messages, I suspect there might be some recent changes or updates made to the website that could have caused this issue.
