Migrate Joomla 3 site to Joomla 4 Php 8.1
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We have a site that has been built using Joomla 3. This site is built using a template and extensions that do not have a Joomla 4 version. The existing site is quite simple. It does not have any ecommerce/shopping cart type thing. It contains only some (about 50) static pages.
So now we want to create a new site with the same content and similar look and feel using Joomla 4.
Please note that we don't want to upgrade joomla version from 3 to 4 on the existing site. We want to build entirely new site using Joomla 4 and new template, which should run on latest Php 8.1.
The following are the requirements:
1. Pick a template that can provide similar looks (or better) as the current site. You should have an account with template providers. We will not purchase the template separately.
2. Create a new site using the content (articles and images) from the existing site. You can use plugins/extensions such as akeeba to take backup of existing site or database dump of existing site. You will not get access to the production site but we can execute whatever you need and provide you the data. You will have to create the new site on your own server.
IMPORTANT: The paths to the pages on the new site should match the paths of the same pages on the new site. This is important because we don't want to disturb the SEO.
3. You will send us the backup of the new site and we will load it on our server to test. We will provide you admin access to this new site so that you can fix issues.
We will point the existing domain to the new site ourselves.
