Joomla K2 component/plugin for comments import
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
We need a module for our K2 Joomla allowing us to import comments in a XLS file. The comments import process will be as following :
- we import a CSV file
- we select in which K2 item the comments will be imported
- during the import, we need a progression bar
- After the import, we see a summary of the import process with the following information : how many comments where imported, how many comments was skipped due to error.
We already have a Google Apps Script code generating the query for the Joomla database, we can provide you the code if you need it for help. Actually, we use this Google Apps Script to create a query for comments we pasted on a Google Sheet and we insert the comments directly on the database via MijoSQL for Joomla
In the attached files, you can see the structure of the XLS file we are using (only the column in green will be used for the import, i-e the columns A B C G, the other datas are not used)
Special notes :
** The imported comment will not be published immediately (the status will be "unpublished")
** The comment date will be the date mentionned in the CSV file for each comment, and not the date when we did the import. (The comments was published in a third-party system and it may have a publishing date prior to the import date)
** Some comments contains emoji, they will be removed by the comonent/plugin during the import process
** We can prov ide you an access to a test site if you want to see how the K2 "comment" section
