Joomla Website Upgrade & Data Transfer
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need an experienced professional with Joomla/PHP/MySQL to upgrade a Joomla 3.5 website to Joomla 5. This new site will be installed on a new VPS server.
Key Requirements:
1- Export the database (including registered users, site content, and images).
2- The old site host uses DirectAdmin, while the new server uses HestiaCP. I’ve already set up the new account on HestiaCP and will provide credentials, including database and FTP access for the new server.
3- The old site has a user mailing list that uses Acymailing. I want this email list migrated as well. I will provide an updated version of Acymailing for Joomla 5.
4- Ensure all the old site's URLs remain intact on the new site to avoid SEO penalties.
5- This upgrade must be done with a fresh installation of Joomla 5—no automatic update features. You’ll need to create a new installation of Joomla 5 on the new server and manually import the old site’s data.
6- Important: I forgot the admin credentials for the current site (Joomla 3.5) and the FTP password, but I can give you access to the DirectAdmin panel, where you can retrieve this information, including access to PhpMyAdmin.
Deadline: 2 days.
Budget: 25 USD fixed, with a 5 USD bonus if the job is done within 2 days and the site is fully functional on the new server (total: 30 USD). The bonus will only be paid if all tasks are completed on time and the migration is successful.
