Joomla Website Changes / Updates
Budget: $50 – $100 CAD
We are looking for somebody who can help make updates and changes to an already existing Joomla website.
The niche we are targeting is diving/scuba. We would like the website to remain quite basic but have a diving theme to it, through images found on free websites like;
-Unsplash
-Pixabay
-Pexels
-Or any other authorized / approved CC0 licensed image library.
There really is no creative direction for this website. We just want it to look nice. A basic free theme, that loads fast, is SEO friendly. Plus, incorporates what is mentioned above and below. Is all we are looking for.

These are Wordpress themes but are very similar examples of what we are looking for in terms of design and layout.

Immediate Areas That Need Work / Improvements;
-A new theme for the website. (Or, just fix what is already installed and make it look good.)
-Homepage needs a slider (or main image) of some sort.
-Change alignment/look of the main navigation menu.
-Create a footer that includes a link to the disclaimer & social buttons.
-Install a GDPR cookies disclaimer plugin to show at the bottom or side when the page loads.
-Ensure https is consistent for all urls on the website.
-Include a sidebar with the ability to add external links.
-Ensure SEO plugins are working properly.
-Hide traffic stats. (allow us to see them internally but not externally on the website)
*social buttons can also be in the header with or above navigation
The rest is up to you in terms of making it look like a simple, but still a professional enough looking website. Similar to the Wordpress examples displayed the link above.
Besides the tasks that are mentioned in this job listing. You can pretty much just install a basic theme that looks nice, then make small changes with plugins etc.
*No milestones over 50%.
