Fix Joomla VirtueMart Checkout Bug + Modify Billing & Shipping Templates (VMUIKIT + OnePageCheckout)

I’m running an e-commerce site using Joomla and VirtueMart, with the following plugins:
VMUIKIT (for UI layout/styling)
VMOnePageCheckout (streamlined checkout system)
I’m facing a critical checkout issue:
When users click the “Checkout” button, the billing details are cleared/disappear, and the order cannot be completed.
This bug is blocking orders and must be resolved urgently.
Additionally, I need the following modifications:
Adjust the billing and shipping form templates (layout or field arrangement) to match the cart layout.
Ensure templates remain clean and responsive within the current UI framework
Your tasks are:
Debug and fix the disappearing billing info issue during checkout
Ensure smooth integration between VirtueMart, VMUIKIT, and OnePageCheckout
Make the requested billing/shipping template adjustments
Maintain UI consistency and responsiveness
Provide a detailed explanation of what was fixed or changed
Requirements:
Strong experience with Joomla + VirtueMart
Familiarity with VMUIKIT and VMOnePageCheckout
Ability to debug template overrides and JavaScript/plugin conflicts
Clear communication in English
Nice to Have:
UX sensibility for checkout forms
Experience working with staging/live environments
