We are seeking a Jinja2 developer to join our team and contribute to the development of the frontend for CKAN platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the user interface using Jinja2 templating language.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the Jinja2 templates for the CKAN frontend, ensuring a responsive and user-friendly design.
- Integrate Jinja2 templates with the CKAN backend API to retrieve and display data.
- Implement dynamic and interactive features using Jinja2 extensions.
- Optimize the performance and scalability of the Jinja2-based frontend.
- Collaborate with the backend development team to ensure seamless integration between the frontend and backend components.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Identify and implement UI/UX improvements based on user feedback and analytics.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in developing web applications using Jinja2 templating language.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for building responsive and interactive user interfaces.
Strong understanding of CKAN architecture and its frontend components.
Familiarity with Python and the Flask web framework.
Experience in integrating Jinja2 templates with RESTful APIs.
We prefer mid-level or senior developers with extensive experience in Jinja2 and CKAN.
