Git SCM - Jenkins Build Automation

I'm seeking a Jenkins expert to help me set up a Jenkins pipeline focused on build automation using SCM with a locally-hosted Git repository. Should also be accessible by jobs run on nodes. Currently I'm struggling with permissions issues.
