A single page, instant search engine (proof of concept)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Your job is to create a single page, instant search website with the basic UI related functionality. The purpose of this project is not to create a website that is final and can be published. The purpose is to create a proof of concept. Even though this is just a proof of concept, the result of this project must look and feel polished with a clean and minimal UI and good usability. This project does not include any kind of graphical design tasks such as logo design, but you must use time to make the end result look good with good usability.
This is a single page application that is essentially a search engine for apps. Instead of a search engine that lists web page hits as results, this search engine lists apps as the result. This is not an app download website where we would host files, this is an app search website.
The website must support search suggestions and by "instant search" I mean the searching happens automatically while user types the search term, without the need to press any Search button. In fact, there is no Search button at all.
You will be given access to a server where you can develop this, OR you can use your own server but the project is completed after the developed website is accepted and running in our server. You must provide some testing data in the database for testing purposes, i.e. for us to see the searching works.
