react redux thunk + web worker

i am making a webapp where you can upload an excel file. while the function is mapping the data and when the data is a big data set (12k or more) the entire ui freezes. after some research i found out that web worker is what i need, however i cant get it to work. I need someone to do it for me and explain it what i am not getting right.
