A project to develop a browser extension and office add-in
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We need to develop both a browser extension and an office add-in using javascript.
In any edit box in the browser (text input, text area, Gmail, Google doc, and wordpress editor, etc.), when the user selects a sentence (or uses the shortcut key Ctrl + E to automatically select the current sentence), a popup window appears with a list of texts (the content of the list is obtained through our API). The user selects one from the list, and it will replace the text in the original text.
Similar function for office add-in (Word and outlook)
Requirements:
1. Use javascript for both browser extension and office add-in.
2. Use plain javascript (no framworks or external library)
3. The browser extension should work for any editable boxes, including but not limited to text input, text area, Gmail, Google doc, and wordpress editor.
4. The browser extension will eventually be deployed in online stores.
5. The office add-in should work in Word and Outlook (desktop version and web version).
6. The office add-in will eventually be deployed in office online store.
