I need a simple Javascript function coded

I need a simple javascript function which can search a string in a .json file and return result as true or false. If the search string present in the json file content, it return true else false. You may need to use functions like fetch ( ) and Includes ( ) to code the required function.
This function need to work with a string parameter. for example: I want to search this string: 0xe1f2ce106f540fd22027c3dd0f1138240a67cbe4
So, I can use function checkAddress('0xe1f2ce106f540fd22027c3dd0f1138240a67cbe4') and the checkAddress function do the search in the .json file which will be also hosted on same location and give output as true or false.
