JS (javascript) code to BLOCK DATES in a calendar from being selected

i have a calendar which is powered by JS datepicker
i need it modified to block certain dates
the dates i need blocked are 5 sep 2021, 6 spe 2021, 7 sep 2021, then the user cant select them from the calendar
