jQuery modal close button not working on Mobile

I need a front-end CSS/JS/jQuery expert to troubleshoot a bug we are having.
A jQuery modal close button works well on a desktop browser, but not on mobile. Tested with Chrome and Firefox.
To see what I mean:
1. open this page https://www.hesk.com/demo/ticket.php
2. click "Forgot tracking ID?"
3. click the black "X" button to close the modal
You will see that #3 works on desktop, but not on mobile.
Your job is to debug this and find a solution. Please DO NOT BID unless you understand the issue, can reproduce it, and can fix it. When bidding, mention these exact words "let's close the modal" so I will know you have read this.
