jQuery and datatable -- 2

We have a webapplication already in live written using HTML, perl CGI, jQuery and jQuery datatable. Here I need additional functionality for this existing application.
I'm from support team. But I think any developer can be able to fix this within 10 mins.
In our frontend(UI) we have the table with 12 columns. The first column is "status" and it has few select options. E.g: Live, In progress, Accepted, Rejected, Guard, Not in live etc.
So requirement is when we select Guard, the other 11 fields should go into read-only mode. And then when we select options (other than Guard) then other fields(columns) should come back to editable mode.
