initializing a function

Hello guys,
I have a javascript issue where I need to call a function when calling another. To understand it more; I'm working on metronic html version template. This template has a built in functions and one of them is the drawer function. Unfortunately, once I call this function the other functions stop working. So I guess it's an initializing issue but I'm not a JS developer. And example will be provided though in the attachments.
