Thought process:
A user visits our website to view at the latest posts by our staff. The user makes a user account on our website.
On one of the posts the user has decided to like the post
and leave a comment, after which someone else has replied, they are in order of date, Comments can also have likes.
They can then use the YouTube button(or other social media)
to view the whole video there. At the top of the website, there is a row with different categories, which the user
can use to navigate the different videos and their categories. ONLY users that are signed in can comment, but
anyone can like. Views of the page should also be counted like YouTube.
The staff can log into the system and add a new post/video, there they are also able to say that it should be
published straight away or if they want to publish them at a different time. Also they can mark it as featured,
where the users will see it on the homepage under the navigation menu.
This will be like a news website, with the idea being it should be like a YouTube platform, with a hint of social
media style.
This is an existing project, and the user accounts, the user dashboard, and admin panel are all already implemented. This means you will do a lot less work.
