WordPress Product Customization Plugin
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I’m looking to build a custom WordPress plugin that lets shoppers tailor each product to their exact needs right on the product page.
Core goals
• Real-time visual configurator so users can change colors, swap images, or upload their own artwork and immediately preview the result.
• Measurements, text and other items are inputted by the end-user and immediately visible on the preview pane
• Dynamic pricing that updates on the fly as each customization choice is made, including rules for surcharges, discounts, or tiered pricing.
• Bulk upload options for all items so they may download our spreadsheet, input their values and upload into the plug-in.
Admin experience
• Intuitive dashboard to create and reuse customization templates across products.
• Simple controls to set price rules, option dependencies, and default selections.
• Asset manager for color palettes, SVG/PNG overlays, and material swatches.
• Must be able to issue SVG or AI file upon purchase of label directly to our email address for ease of creating the customer's orders.
Technical notes
• Must run seamlessly on the latest WordPress and WooCommerce versions without relying on heavy page builders.
• Clean, modular code that follows WordPress best practices so future updates are straightforward.
• Fully responsive output and minimal performance impact (lazy loading images, inline SVG where possible).
• Compatibility checks with popular caching and security plugins.

1. Detailed technical plan and UI mockups for approval.
2. Working prototype showing core customization workflow on a sample product.
3. Final, production-ready plugin packaged for easy installation plus a concise user guide.
4. Post-delivery handoff that includes code documentation and a short video walkthrough.
