WordPress Post Boost Feature

I need an experienced WordPress developer to add a “boost” capability to Buzzakoo.com so that selected posts jump back to the top of all public feeds, much like the bump function on popular forums. The current site runs the latest WordPress with a mix of custom and third-party plugins, so the new feature must slot in cleanly without breaking existing functionality or design.

Here’s what I have in mind:

• A visible Boost button on every post (location and styling should match the theme).
• When clicked, that post is immediately reordered to appear first in every standard listing or archive loop.
• The boost event should be stored in the database so the position survives page refreshes and cache flushes.
• A simple settings panel where I can later set rules such as who may boost, cooldown periods between boosts, or maximum boosts per post.
• All code delivered as a self-contained plugin or a clearly documented child-theme module so updates to WordPress or the main theme do not overwrite the work.

Acceptance criteria
– Boosted posts always render first in the relevant query results.
– The rest of the ordering logic (date, sticky status, etc.) still works once the boost period expires or another post is boosted.
– Feature is fully responsive and tested on the site’s existing cache and security setup.

If you have already built similar ranking or priority systems on WordPress, please point me to a live example. Time is important here, so only apply if you are confident you can deliver a rock-solid implementation quickly and can start right away.
