WordPress Front-Page Performance Revamp

Our corporate site needs to be rebuilt from the ground up in WordPress/PHP, and I want the finished product to feel fast and polished—especially on the front page, which is where most visitors land. The single biggest objective is better performance; every change you make should serve that goal.
