WordPress Download-After-Email Fix

Job ID: 40628353

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

The “Download after email” plugin on my WordPress site is blocking an image file I’ve set up for delivery. Everything appears correct in the plugin settings—images are apparently allowed—yet when the autoresponder link is clicked the visitor sees the message “file not allowed for download.”

I need someone who knows this plugin inside out (or at least understands WordPress file-permission logic and MIME-type handling) to locate the cause and remove the block. A clean, code-level or configuration-level solution is fine as long as it remains update-safe.

Acceptance: once the visitor submits their email, the intended image downloads instantly from the e-mail link without triggering the current error and without compromising overall site security or the plugin’s statistics tracking.
