WooCommerce Developer Needed – Custom Order Status UI Integration (Electro Theme) Project Overview

We have a custom-designed HTML Order Status UI prototype that needs to be integrated into our live WooCommerce website running on the Electro theme.

The objective is to fully replace the default WooCommerce “View Order” layout with our custom UI while ensuring 100% compatibility with:

Electro theme
ParcelWell plugin
Octolize shipping plugins
Existing governance plugin
WooCommerce order statuses

Product attribute system

This must be implemented using child theme overrides and WooCommerce best practices. No core modifications are allowed.

Scope of Work
1. Template Integration
Convert provided HTML into a WooCommerce template override

Override:
woocommerce/myaccount/view-order.php
Implement inside child theme only
No edits to parent theme or WooCommerce core

2. Dynamic Order Data Mapping
Replace static HTML with dynamic WooCommerce data:
Order number
Order date
Order total
Payment method
Shipping address
Tracking number (order meta)

Shipping method
WooCommerce order status
3. Status Mapping & Progress Logic

Map WooCommerce statuses to custom UI states such as:

Pending
Processing
Completed
Cancelled
Failed
Refunded
Any custom statuses
Implement dynamic progress bar logic based on order status.

4. ParcelWell & Octolize Compatibility
Ensure full compatibility with:
ParcelWell plugin
Octolize shipping plugins

Requirements:
Shipping method must display correctly
Tracking meta must remain functional
No conflict with shipping calculations
No checkout disruption
No AJAX conflicts

5. Attribute-Related Fixes

Diagnose and correct existing attribute-related issues, including:
Attribute display inconsistencies
Variation attribute logic conflicts
Order item attribute rendering issues
Ensure no interference with product meta or order meta
All fixes must be done cleanly without breaking product structure.

6. Safety & Development Requirements

Must work on staging site only
No direct theme editing
No WooCommerce core modification
No plugin core editing
No JavaScript conflicts
Must not break checkout
Must not break admin order page
Must not break AJAX functionality
