Project Overview
We are seeking to develop a product configurator for three key products: bifold doors, 20mm sliding doors, and 47mm sliding doors. This tool will allow users to customize these products by adjusting dimensions and adding features such as blinds and vents. The configurator will provide real-time visual updates and indicative pricing. The concept is inspired by the configurator on Tylko's website, specifically seen here.
Requirements
1. Technology Stack
The configurator should ideally be developed as a React application. However, we are open to suggestions if the development team believes another technology would be more suitable.
The codebase must be well-documented and annotated to facilitate future updates and maintenance.
A Git repository should be used for version control and collaboration.
2. Design
UI design will be provided by us.
The application should adhere strictly to the provided designs, ensuring a seamless user experience.
3. Hosting
The application will be hosted on a subdomain of our website.
4. Features
Customization Options: Users should be able to first select the product they require, adjust the width and height of the products and add features such as blinds and vent (more features to be added).
Real-Time Visualization: As users make adjustments, the product's appearance should update instantly.
Indicative Pricing: The configurator should provide real-time cost estimates based on user customizations.
Responsive Design: The application must be fully responsive and functional across various devices and screen sizes.
Form Integration: When the user has finished their design, they will be presented with a form. This form should ideally populate a HubSpot form with the user's selections and allow them to enter their personal details.
Google analytics will need to be installed
5. Development Process
The project should be broken down into sprints, with clear milestones and deliverables for each sprint.
Regular meetings will be required to review progress and discuss any necessary amendments.
