Website with Google Maps API Upgrade.
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
Due to google maps API upgrade from V2 to V3, The website no longer functions the way it was intended to, thus the scripts which control the following functions are required to be upgraded. There is documentation on this provided by Google, though there is no roadmap.
I am in seek of someone who has the strong JS Skills to assist in the upgrade of maps API commands. So that the system can be working properly again.
EVENTS
- Display map based on coordinates from DB - lat lng.
- Add map locations to database
LOCATIONS
- Browse map for locations, then zoom in and use reverse geo lookup to get the address, then add the location to the database.
- Search the Location catalogue and see them appear on the map, then create an activity at that location.

When creating an activity, selecting the location from the catalogue currently only provides one single location to enter. The new function will allow a route to be created (Not just a single Location), this will be used for sports such as running and cycling. (see image 1577_873.jpg) thus the existing logic will need to be altered.
Experiences required: Google Maps API, PHP JS, Jquery, Ajax.
Other requirements: The project is to be completed via a remote environment such as AnyDesk or Visual Code studio (collaborative mode)
