Web Development for Online Bookshop
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
We are seeking a skilled freelancer who can promptly assist us in completing specific web development tasks outlined in our project’s Kanban board. You will be expected to collaborate remotely at 6:00 PM EST via TeamViewer or Unidesk, ensuring smooth and productive workflow sessions.
Required Tasks:
• Secure Payment Processing: Implement secure handling and processing of payment information to protect user data and ensure transaction integrity.
• Item Listing Functionality: Develop and integrate detailed book listings, allowing users to clearly view book information, including descriptions and images.
• Search Functionality: Create a robust and user-friendly search feature that enables users to efficiently find books by title or author.
• Cart Review Capability: Build functionality allowing users to easily view and modify items in their cart prior to checkout.
Desired Qualifications:
• Strong experience in backend API development, particularly CRUD operations and user authentication.
• Proficient with MongoDB for database integration and management.
• Comfortable working with frontend design using HTML, CSS (Bootstrap preferred), and JavaScript.
• Experience with GitHub repository management and project collaboration.
• Ability to create responsive, modern user interfaces and integrate functionality seamlessly.
Additional Requirements:
• Set up GitHub and configure the complete development environment on my PC.
Work Environment:
• Collaboration via TeamViewer or Unidesk at 6:00 PM EST.
• Immediate start with defined tasks and clear sprint goals.
• Regular updates and task tracking through our Kanban board.
