AI Voice Agent Development in LiveKit.io

We are seeking an experienced LiveKit.io developer to build a HIPAA-compliant AI Voice Agent that interacts with patients through the web in real time.

The agent should:

Run on LiveKit.io Managed Hosting with HIPAA compliance in mind.

Follow predefined conversational flows to collect patient information (current concerns, past history, family history, follow-up).

Provide structured output (JSON/API/webhook) so our in-house Odoo EMR team can integrate the data.

Support web-based patient interaction with natural, human-like conversation (using OpenAI or equivalent).

Your Scope:

Setup and configure AI Voice Agent(s) on LiveKit.io.

Ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of PHI (secure communication, encryption, no unauthorized logging).

Implement conversational flows.

Deliver a patient-facing web interface for the voice agent.

Provide documentation and support for customization.

We will handle:

Odoo EMR integration.

Backend data storage and HIPAA alignment within our systems.

Deliverables:

Working HIPAA-compliant AI Voice Agent on LiveKit.io.

Structured data output ready for EMR integration.

Documentation & handover.

Skills Required:

Strong hands-on experience with LiveKit.io (Managed Hosting).

Real-time voice/video streaming, WebRTC.

Conversational AI (OpenAI/Anthropic or similar).

Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements for PHI.

JavaScript/TypeScript for web integration.

Bonus: experience with healthcare/EMR workflows
