Update NodeBB Plugin to Run via CLI or API

I need this plugin for NodeBB to be slightly modified. I need it to be able to either run via CLI or have its endpoint exposed. Currently, the plugin will stop working because NodeBB will timeout. The problem of timeout needs to be averted with either of the two proposed solutions.
