Typescript-like wizard form, but with Rails and Stimulus
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Hello there! I am looking for someone to build a form wizard with 6 steps, using Rails 7 (with importmaps) and Stimulus/ vanilla Javascript (in other words, no React). The challenge of the task is to make it with a Typescript-like feel, just like they do at hey.com:

The form will contain 6 fields (mixing text fields, textareas and select menus). This is a proof of concept, that will be later adapted to an exising project.
As for validation, the form does need it. Ideally at eat step.
The data also should be recorded at a db table, so if the user abandons the form before completing it, the data is not lost, and he/she can go back later, to go on and complete.
I will provide access to a github repo with a Rails 7 skeleton app, with just the base setup (authentication, User model and scaffold, basic menu navigation). It also has an "Enrollment" model, with the 6 example fields you can use to build the feature.
Please let me know if you are interested in this project and your estimated time until completion. Thank you!
PS: if you think React is vital to do this, we can discuss the possibility of having it, but it needs to be some setup that allows the rest of the application to keep running in "vanilla" style, I mean, without frontend framework.
PS2: CSS styling shall be Tailwind CSS, that will be already installed in the base setup.
