Tweak existing tiny js script (12 lines of code) to show text elements at random rather than sequential

I want to make two changes to this existing jsfiddle: https://jsfiddle.net/JVuEv/
1) To show the text elements (spans) at random rather than in order of the DOM.
2) When page loads to show the first in the random order; currently no span is shown at all on load.
