Job ID: 38652416

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

Project Overview:

We are seeking an experienced freelance developer to create a Trello Power-Up that enables users to generate Trello cards directly from an Excel file and integrates a payment system for premium features. Free users will have limited uploads, and premium users will enjoy increased upload limits through a subscription-based system. The functionality should mirror the example below:

The project will be built using Node.js on the backend and React for the frontend interface of the Trello Power-Up. You will also be responsible for implementing payment processing with Stripe and user authentication with Auth0.

Responsibilities:
Develop the Trello Power-Up:
Create a Power-Up using React that allows users to upload Excel files and convert the data into Trello cards.
Ensure compatibility with multiple Excel formats (e.g., .xlsx, .xls, .csv) using libraries like SheetJS.
Implement functionality to map Excel columns to Trello card attributes (e.g., title, description, labels, due dates, etc.).
Integrate User Authentication and Role Management:

Set up user authentication and role management using Auth0 to differentiate free and premium users.
Free users will have limited file uploads (e.g., 3 files per month), while premium users will have increased limits.
Provide a dashboard where users can view their upload history, remaining uploads, and subscription status.
Payment Integration:

Integrate a payment gateway using Stripe for premium subscription payments.
Implement recurring billing for premium users, with proper handling for upgrades, downgrades, and failed payments.
Allow premium users to unlock additional features or unlimited uploads.
UI/UX Design:

Develop an intuitive, React-based interface within Trello for uploading Excel files, managing subscription status, and tracking upload limits.
Implement error handling, notifications, and prompts for free users to upgrade when limits are reached.
Testing & Quality Assurance:

Conduct thorough testing of the Power-Up to ensure compatibility with Trello’s API, and performance across multiple browsers and devices.
Fix bugs and optimize for performance, ensuring smooth functionality for both free and premium users.
Documentation & Support:

Provide comprehensive documentation, including a user guide for both free and premium users and developer notes for future maintenance.
Support the submission process to Trello’s Power-Up directory, ensuring compliance with their guidelines.
