Teach me JavaScript testing

I'm looking for someone to help me understand and effectively use JavaScript testing. Primarily, I need guidance on writing test cases, as well as setting up a test environment. I don't have a preferred framework, so guidance on the different options, such as QUnit, Jasmine, Mocha, react testing library and jest would be greatly appreciated. I'm not experienced with writing test cases or setting up test environments, so all the help I can get is welcome. Thanks for your time and expertise!
