Spreadsheet View for users to interact with their database records

We have a web application where users store large collections within a database. Right now, in order to edit a record within the database, it requires them to view each record individually. We are looking to implement what we are calling a "spreadsheet view" into the app, where they can see all of their records within a spreadsheet like application within the web browser. Something that gives the user an experience like Airtable.com, where they can update multiple records easily. The ability to sort, filter, adjust column width...etc. We do not need it to be exactly like airtable, but something close. We can build this ourselves, but we are curious if anyone has access to anything pre-built that could speed this up for us? All we are looking for is the user front end, we can handle all of the backend.
If you have any examples of something that could work, or if you could develop the user front end for us, please let me know. I am assuming there will be many questions about this, so please feel free to ask them on the project board or pm me.
