Small JavaScript / Bootstrap Issue

I have a bootstrap dropdown with a form in it. When somebody clicks outside of the dropdown area, the bootstrap dropdown closes. I need some sort of javascript event that fires so i can automatically refresh the page with the form submitted. I want an easy solution to this. I must be 100% satisified with the solution. I want to use Google Meeting to resolve this issue since it is so small. I am not going to share code at this point.
