Looking for someone to edit a javascript file regarding URLSearchParameters. Basically we need a file that allows for a user to visit a page in our web app and have it scan query parameters from the URL and use that information to search for data from the connected API.
We currently have it setup so that a list of 'reps' is generated from an API call. Then a user can select a specific rep and it will load a new page with that rep's personal data. The url is then appended with a unique ID from that specific query.
The challenge is, this cannot be accessed when backlinked externally. When a user visits the site by submitting the url with the correct query parameters attached, it only links to the base html file without the necessary field being filled in from the API data.
We're looking for a way to link to a specific rep's page via backlink and have the correct data articulate automatically using the url params.
