Shopify Speed Optimisation Specialist Needed

I’m looking for an experienced Shopify site speed optimisation specialist to improve the loading speed and performance of my e-commerce website.

This is a performance-focused role, not a design or SEO content role.

Website: Shopify (custom theme)
Industry: Beauty / Skincare devices
Traffic source: Google Ads + Meta Ads
Location: Australia (remote work welcome)

Scope of Work
You will be responsible for:
- Improving mobile and desktop page speed
- Optimising Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP)
- Reducing render-blocking scripts and unused CSS/JS
- Optimising images without quality loss
- Reviewing and optimising Shopify apps (removing or replacing heavy apps if needed)
- Implementing lazy loading where appropriate
- Improving speed on homepage, product pages, and checkout
- Ensuring no negative impact on design, tracking, or conversions

Requirements (Important)
Please apply only if you have:
- Proven experience optimising Shopify stores
- Strong understanding of Core Web Vitals
- Experience with Shopify Liquid, CSS, JavaScript
- Familiarity with Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, Lighthouse
- Experience working on conversion-focused e-commerce sites
- Ability to explain what you changed and why
Deliverables
- Before & after speed reports (PageSpeed / GTmetrix)
- Summary of optimisations completed
- Measurable improvement in site speed and CWV scores
- Clean, reversible changes (no hacks or risky shortcuts)

- Not SEO keyword or content work
- Not adding more apps or plugins
- Not generic “speed tips”
- I want actual implementation and results.
