Looking for a Shopify Developer to Build a Plugin for Redirecting Checkout to Another Shopify Store
Project Description:
I am looking for an experienced Shopify developer who can build a custom solution (plugin or script) to handle the following use case:
Store A is a Shopify landing page where users view a product and click “Buy Now”.
When the customer clicks “Buy Now”, they should not complete the checkout on Store A, but instead be automatically redirected to the checkout page of Store B (also running on Shopify with Shopify Payments enabled), where the final purchase is completed.
Goal:
To create a reliable, seamless redirect mechanism that moves users from the product page or cart of Store A directly to the checkout of Store B.
Requirements:
Proven experience with Shopify development (Liquid, JS, private app/plugin development)
Deep understanding of Shopify’s checkout process and Shopify Payments
Ability to implement secure, dynamic checkout redirects
Clean code and optimization for fast performance and smooth user experience
Ability to assist with integration and testing
Bonus skills:
Experience with headless Shopify setups
Familiarity with Shopify’s Terms of Service and limitations regarding cross-store behavior
Fast execution and responsiveness
